St. Ives escapade for couples

Let’s face it, daily life is rough on couples. Problems at work, finances, raising kids and home chores all compete to keep couples focused on everything but their relationship. This is why couples need to take vacations from time to time. Taking a vacation as a couple has many physical and psychological benefits, including reducing stress and boosting your well-being. But, in addition to the benefits for each individual, the benefit of a couple spending quality time away can be a very rewarding experience.

Visiting Barbara Hepworth Museum and the Sculpture Garden gives you an amazing insight to one of the most important sculptors in the 20th Century. Sculptures in bronze, wood, and stone are on display, with drawings, archive material and paintings. This subtropical garden was an essential part of the creative process of Hepworth where she made most famous works. When she died in 1975, it was made a permanent setting to display her work. Since 1980 the Tate has managed both garden and studio. This is quite an interesting sculpture garden, it makes the world a different place. It is a very unique garden that couples would enjoy seeing.

St. Ives Museum

The St. Ives Museum is located on a wheel drive between Porthgwidden Beach and Harbour. It is an old, wonderful collection of St. Ives history. Here you can learn the many bobs and bits that tell the story of this charming place. The old photos found here show just how difficult and colourful life was. There are so many things to learn about shipping, fashion, mining, and farming. A very interesting and educational place indeed.
