Bangkok Thailand

Food, Food & Food

Food is something in which there is plenty of in Bangkok. I tend to find a place I like and eat there every day until I get absolutely sick of it, but this blog gives me a very good excuse to try new places. I also accept reviews from other expats and travelers who really love or hate certain places to eat in Bangkok, Thailand and around Southeast Asia.

You can browse the category of: Places to Eat in the main (left) navigation at any time to find restaurant and various food place reviews.

Overall Dining Experience

By dining experience in Thailand I mean 95% food and 5% intangibles because most places have the same service which usually includes something like 20 people who do the work of 5.

Price Breakdown:

Everyone wants to know the price of what they are eating. In America, you almost always look at the price when you’re ordering something off a menu. In America the price often an indicator of how much food you are getting as well.

The vast majority of the time this is not the case in Bangkok. Most of the restaurants which you would pop your head in on a weekday or night are priced very low compared to American standards. Whenever I eat somewhere I will try to provide a price breakdown for what I order but I will still put the following icons for certain price benchmarks. Each icon is for a single person.
