		<description>ED visas and Student visas are two different things. You use both words here. Which one is it? ED visas are 3-month visas that, as far as I know, last only that long. Student visas are year-long visas that can be renewed as you say. I think you need an ED visa first to then get the year long Student visa, though I may be wrong. Please clarify this otherwise very well-written post.</description>

BUT i have a slight question, i am a student of ABAC, and i have to go to the immigration office every 3 months to &quot;restate my business in Thailand&quot;, Then i encountered a some major problems and i am a week late at doing this, what sort of problem/situation should i expect from the immigration office ??

One touch about the new immigration centre that I particularly enjoyed was the giant wall plaque in polished timer bearing a brass inscription of the chorus to “My Way” (to fight the impossible fight etc). Whoever put that there has either a truly perverse sense of humour, or a complete lack of irony.</description>
